(Cavan-Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were conducting radar patrol on Highway 115. Sunday night just after 8:00pm, officers stopped a vehicle for speeding and immediately noticed a strong odour of marihuana throughout the car.
Jesse Michael John SHAW (age 21) and Tre Bernard ROBERTS (age 21) both of Peterborough have been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. The accused males are scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial court on April 30, 2015.
