TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO DRUG CHARGES

(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON)- On Friday January 10, 2014 at 10:13 p.m. police conducted a traffic stop on a Union Street in Parkhill for a traffic related offence. During the course of the investigation police located an open container of alcohol and marijuana.

As a result police have charged Trevor WHITFIELD, age 21 of Bosanquet TWP and Cameron MUSSER, age 22 of South Huron with one count each of Possession of a Schedule II substance- Cannabis Marihuana – under 30grams as per Section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act. Both parties were released from police custody by way of an Appearance Notice and are scheduled to appear in a London court room on February 28, 2014 to speak to the charges.
