TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO ARREST

(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On Friday, December 13, 2013, just after 1:00 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers stopped a Ford pickup truck on Highway 401 eastbound near Kennesserie Road.

While officers were speaking with the driver, 35 year old Daniel CORMIER, from North Middlesex, ON, it was determined that he had been consuming alcoholic beverages.

Subsequent tests indicated that the driver was over the legal limit and he will appear in a Chatham Court on Friday, January 3, 2014, to answer to the following charges:

Having Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle With Liquor Readily Available

Speeding and Fail to Surrender Licence
