Yesterday, the Chatham-Kent Police Traffic Unit conducted a road safety blitz throughout the Municipality.
A total of 74 tickets were issued for seatbelt infractions, use of cell phones and speeding.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service would like to remind all drivers that the behaviours that put you most at risk are impaired driving, not wearing a seat belt, speeding and distracted driving.
Our goal is to change unsafe driver behaviour and improve road safety for everyone, so please slow down, buckle up, keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel.
