On Tuesday afternoon the Barrie Police attended a Mary St. residence regarding a domestic dispute upon arrival the officers discovered that a 42 year old male had attended his ex-girlfirends apartment contrary to a probation order stemming from a previous domestic incident. While at the residence the two became involved in an verbal dispute over the male wanting to have a shower. He was told to leave the residence. At this time he became enraged and spat on the female, he then left the apartment and smashed the mailbox. The accused was located a short time later. The male now faces charges of assault, mischief and fail to comply probation. He will be appearing in bail court Wednesday morning.
