(TAY TOWNSHIP) – Officers from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police along with Tay fire responded a collision between a tractor trailer and a pick-up truck this morning at approximately 6:42 a.m.
A westbound tractor trailer and an eastbound pick-up truck collided on Highway 12 between Newton Street and Park Street in Victoria Harbour. Simcoe County paramedics transported the 30 year old male driver of the pick-up truck to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Highway 12 remains closed in both directions until approximately 10:00 a.m. this morning.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
