(LEAMINGTON, ON) – On November 30, 2016 at approximately 8:00 a.m., members from the Leamington detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision in the 100 block of Erie Street South, in the Town of Leamington.
A male driver of a tractor-trailer lost control of his vehicle due to a medical emergency and struck a porch, two (2) trees, a parked vehicle and a light post on Erie Street South in the Town of Leamington. The male driver was transported to hospital. No other parties were injured.
The road was initially closed for repair of the light post and power lines. The road has since been reopened.
No charges will be laid.
