TRACTOR TRAILER COLLISON CAUSES HIGHWAY 401 CLOSURE

BROCKVILLE,ON.) On the 27th of September 2013 at about 1:00 AM officers from the Leeds County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were called to a collision on Highway 401 eastbound involving two tractor trailers. One of the transports was fully engulfed in flames.
Drivers involved from both transports sustained non-life threatening injuries and were taken to hospital.
The collision, located between the two Brockville exits caused a closure of both the east and west bound lanes. Both lanes will be closed until further notice.
Detours have been set up at Highway 401 westbound at North Augusta Road, and eastbound at Stewart Boulevard.
