(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On January 6, 2017 at approximately 7:33 p.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Festive R.I.D.E. Unit were conducting spot checks on Wellington Road 39 near Wellington Road 30, Guelph-Eramosa Township. A 2012 Chrysler entered the R.I.D.E. program and officers believed the female driver had consumed alcohol. A Roadside Screening test was conducted which resulted in a fail. She was arrested and brought to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.
49-year-old Tracey WILLMS of Guelph has been charged with Over 80 Mgs contrary to the Criminal Code. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on February 3 2017. Her driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.
