On November 12, 2013, at 6:00 pm, officers form the Ottawa Detachment were investigating a collision that occurred on Highway 417 eastbound near St-Laurent Boulevard. While investigating the collision, an altercation began between two tow truck operators. As a result of the altercation, one of the operators was charged with assault.
The operator, 24 year old, Nadeem CHAMAA of Ottawa was charged with assault and is scheduled to appear in Ottawa court on December 16, 2013.
