(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated theft of tools from a construction site on Somers Street in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
Sometime between 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21st and 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22nd, two enclosed utility trailers, parked at the site of a new home build, were breached by unknown person(s). A number of tools were stolen from the trailers, including a Hitachi Sliding Compound Saw; 12” DeWalt Compound Miter Saw, DeWalt Jigsaw, Grex 2” Nailer, two DeWalt Stand Mounting Brackets, DeWalt Radio, Coping Saw and a Makita Cordless Impact Drill and Charger. The value of the stolen property was estimated to be $2,300.
Grey County OPP, with the assistance of the Grey County OPP Street Crimes Unit, continues to investigate.
