(ZORRA TOWNSHIP, ON) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a break, enter and theft that occurred on Road 78, near the 29th Line in Zorra Township.
Sometime between 5:00 p.m. on March 12, 2015 and 8:00 a.m. on March 13, 2015, suspect(s) forcibly entered a maintenance building, and entered the workshop and stole numerous items. The following is some of the items taken:
Blue steel tank of Argon gas (used for Mig Welding)
20 foot long chains- 2 different diameters in width
Tool box and various hand tools, socket/wrench sets
Black & Decker Ratchet set
Two Air Impact tool guns
Hydraulic Jack
A full size pickup truck was likely used to transport all the stolen items. The Oxford OPP is continuing to investigate.
The OPP is asking residents to be vigilant in recognizing suspicious people or vehicles that are in your neighborhoods. It is important for this information to get to police when the suspects may still be in the area.
