Tools and ATV’s Stolen

(HURON EAST, ON) Ontario Provincial Police officers from the Huron Detachment are investigating the theft of two ATVs and tools taken from two separate drive sheds. Suspect(s) stole a blue, 2008 Polaris 500 ATV from a drive shed located on Maple Keys Line. In addition, a “Dewalt” drill, saw, hammer drill, impact drill and a “Stihl” gas powered leaf blower were stolen. The value of the stolen items is approximately $7,000.

Also in Huron East, an ATV and several hand tools were stolen from a drive shed located on Newry Road. The red 2008 Arctic Cat DVX250 ATV is described as a racing style ATV with grey nerf bars. Also stolen were several “Snap On” hand tools with the letters “PWS” engraved on them. The value of the stolen tools and ATV is believed to be in excess of $8,000.

Both thefts took place sometime between 11:00 p.m. on January 18, 2012 and early morning on January 19, 2012.
