Tony, Mousin & Oudom Thammavongsa – Cocaine, Oxycodone, Ecstasy, Codeine, Trafficking, Firearm

(SOUTH HURON, ON) – On Friday, November 25, 2011 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of West Region ERT, and Canine executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on London Road, South Huron, Huron County, Ontario.

The residence and outbuildings were searched. As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized cannabis marihuana bud, cocaine, oxycodone pills, ecstasy pills, and codeine pills. The estimated combined street value of the controlled substances is $16,375. Offence related property was also seized that consisted of $3,210 cash, scales, packaging material, a rifle and ammunition.

Tony THAMMAVONGSA, age 24 years, Oudom THAMMAVONGSA, age 56 years, and Mounsin THAMMAVONGSA, age 52 years of South Huron are each charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with possession of a controlled substance for the purposes of trafficking, (cannabis marihuana) and (ecstasy), and possession of a controlled substance, (cocaine, codeine, and oxycodone pills). They are also each charged with unsafe storage of a firearm and unauthorized possession of a firearm. Tony THAMMAVONGSA is additionally charged with possession of a firearm while prohibited from doing so, Fail to comply with a probation order, and Fail to comply with an undertaking.

Oudom and Mounsin THAMMAVONGSA were released from custody on a Promise to Appear and officer in charge undertaking. Tony THAMMAVONGSA was held in custody for a bail hearing.
