Todd JACKSON – Drunk Driving

(PARRY SOUND, ON) – On June 18, 2018 at shortly before 1 p.m., a member of the West Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a possible impaired driver in Parry Sound, Ontario. Police located the vehicle on Summit Street in Parry Sound, Ontario. The officer stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver. The officer determined that he had consumed alcohol.

As a result of the investigation, Todd JACKSON, a 54 year old male from Parry Sound, Ontario was arrested and charged with Driving motor vehicle with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the CC.

The driver was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound, Ontario on July 19, 2018.

The OPP reminds motorists that there is no safe amount of drug or alcohol consumption when driving. Anyone who suspects a driver that is driving while impaired is urged to call police by dialing 9-1-1 immediately.
