Timothy WESTBROOK – Drunk Driving

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On August 14, 2016, at approximately 2:27 a.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed an erratic driver travelling westbound on Oxford Street West, in the City of London, Ontario.

A traffic stop of the motor vehicle, a white Ford pickup truck, was conducted on Glendon Drive, near Kilworth Park Drive. Police determined the male driver had been consuming alcohol. A roadside screening device was administered, and the driver registered a “fail”. The male was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for further breath testing.

As a result of the police investigation, 42-year-old Timothy WESTBROOK, from Middlesex Centre, Ontario, has been charged with driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charge in a London court on September 15, 2016.
