(NORWICH TOWNSHIP, ON.). – At approximately 8:03 p.m. on November 21, 2013, members of Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision between a motor vehicle and a residence located on Highway 2 in Norwich Township. The motor vehicle collided with the front of the garage, travelling through the rear of the garage coming to a stop in the back yard of the residence.
As a result of the collision and investigation, police have charged 66 year old Timothy QUIGLEY of Blandford Blenheim Township under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:
Driving While Ability Impaired Cause Bodily Harm (Motor Vehicle/Alcohol)
Driving with More than 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol in Blood
The home owner was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The male is being held for a bail hearing and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock.
