(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Saturday May 25, 2013, shortly before 10:30 p.m. Perth County OPP officers in Mitchell were called to a gas station on Ontario Road where a motorist had been observed who appeared intoxicated.
Officers located a male in a vehicle who displayed signs of impairment. The male was arrested and transported to the Exeter OPP Detachment where he failed two Intoxilyzer Breath Tests.
Timothy HILL (58) of the Municipality of West Perth has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, and operation of a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood. He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on July 08, 2013, to answer to these charges. His driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and his vehicle has been impounded for 7 days.
