Timothy HAMMER Facing 15 More Charges

(INGERSOLL, ON.) – A male arrested on March 21, 2014 in Ingersoll on an outstanding warrant from London Police Service is now facing additional charges from Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). Timothy HAMMER, was taken into custody on March 21, 2014 when he was arrested at a hotel in Ingersoll.

Further police investigation by the Oxford County OPP Crime Unit has led to fifteen additional charges against him.

Police investigation revealed he had stolen a 2004 Toyota Sienna van from London on March 2, 2014. The stolen van was recovered on March 21, 2014 in the Town of Ingersoll.

Further investigation revealed he had stolen property from London and Stratford in his possession including stolen licence plates, a gps unit, hockey stick, sunglasses and an assortment of personal items not exceeding $5,000.

In addition to the property related offences he has been charged with Failing to Comply with an Undertaking.

31 year old Timothy HAMMER, from London has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

Fail to Comply with an Undertaking

Theft Under $5,000

Theft of Motor Vehicle

Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000

Possession of Stolen Property Under $5,000 – 10 Counts

HAMMER also faces a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

He was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice – Woodstock.
