The Criminal Investigations Bureau of the Public Security Service of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais proceeded, Monday, with the arrest of 32 year old David-Francis Bursey, a native from the Outaouais area, in connection with two (2) distinct incidents of sexual contacts and invitation to sexual contacts with children aged 10 and 12, and this while he was a counsellor at the Camp des Voyageurs Tim Horton in the Quyon sector, between 2004 and 2006.
The investigation actually shows that the two (2) incidents known to date took place during the summers of 2005 and 2006. The investigation also shows that the accused would have resided in the Ottawa-Gatineau region between 2009 and 2013 before leaving for Alberta, where he currently resides.
Considering certain elements of the investigation, it is possible and likely that there are other persons who were victim of the accused’s actions.
