THUNDER BAY OPP INVESTIGATE ELECTION SIGN THEFTS / VANDALISM

(THUNDER BAY, ON) Thunder Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has received several reports of election signs being stolen, vandalized and / or tampered with in Conmee Township and the Municipality of Shuniah.

Thunder Bay OPP is investigating these occurrences and would like to remind residents to be vigilant in their neighbourhoods to report such incidents to police immediately.

Anyone taking election signs without authority to do so could be criminally charged with theft under $5000, and have to attend court to answer to their charge.

1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000 and not have to appear in court.
