(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On July 23, 2015 officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) seized three vehicles and each driver had their licence suspended for seven days as a result of excessive speed on Highway 35 in the City of Kawartha Lakes.
Benjamin PHILLIPS, 17 years of age of Janetville, was travelling at 133 km/h in an 80 km/h zone and charged with stunt driving – excessive speed contrary to section 172(1) of the Highway Traffic Act.
Barry GILL, 61 years of age of Beaconsfield, Quebec was travelling at 133 km/h in an 80 km/h zone and charged with stunt driving – excessive speed contrary to section 172(1) of the Highway Traffic Act..
Jesse WALTON, 19 years of age of Bobcaygeon, was travelling at 133 km/h in an 80 km/h zone and charged with stunt driving – excessive speed contrary to section 172(1) of the Highway Traffic Act.
All three accused will appear in Lindsay Provincial Court on September 8, 2015.
