(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at approximately 12:57 p.m.., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a three vehicle collision on Sykes Street South, Meaford, in the Municipality of Meaford.
A 2008 Pontiac van travelling southbound on Sykes Street collided into the back of a stopped 2002 Chevrolet Impala which then struck the back of a 2008 Honda Civic. The vehicles had been stopped waiting for another vehicle to make a left turn onto Margaret Street.
The Meaford Fire Department and Grey County EMS attended the scene. There were minor injuries reported.
The driver of the Pontiac, Wilma JACKLIN, 74, of Meaford, was charged with Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
