(MAPLETON TOWNSHIP,ON) – On August 19, 2015 at approximately 2:42 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received a report of a three vehicle collision on Wellington County Road 8 at Wellington County Road 9, Township of Mapleton.
68-year-old Allan POFFENROTH of Elmira was transported by Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital then airlifted to Hamilton General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Members from the OPP Technical Collision Investigation Team are continuing with this investigation.
