(CALEDON, ON) – On Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 6:37 am, the Caledon (OPP) was dispatched to a serious personal injury collision on Mayfield Road, between Chinguacousy Road and Creditview Road.
Preliminary investigation reveals that three vehicles were involved. Caledon Fire Services and Peel Emergency Services were both on scene to assist.
The male driver of a grey Honda CRV was transported by air ambulance to a Toronto trauma centre with serious injuries. The driver of a black Dodge Caravan was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.
Currently Mayfield Road is closed between Chinguacousy Road and Creditview Road, and is expected to remain closed for several hours while the OPP’s Technical Collision Investigators (TCI), attend the scene to assist with the investigation.
