(Otonabee-South MonaghanTownship, ON) – Emergency crews are currently on scene of a three vehicle collision on Bensfort Road at Baseline Road. The crash occurred just after 4:30pm today, when two southbound vehicles were stopped waiting to turn. A third southbound vehicle collided with those stopped vehicles.
Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Peterborough County Detachment supported by Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) and Collision Reconstructionist have the road closed and are investigating the cause of the crash.
A female driver has been transported, by air ambulance, to a Toronto area hospital with serious injuries.
