Three Vehicle Collision

A 40 year old Guelph auto mechanic faces a criminal charge of Drive While Disqualified after becoming involved in a collision while test driving a customer’s car.

On Thursday 13 November, 2014 at approximately 5:15pm a 2001 Acura (operated by the mechanic) was westbound on London Road West (near Yorkshire Street) when it struck the rear end of a stopped 2005 Honda operated by a 76 year old Guelph male.

The impact of that rear end collision pushed the Honda into the rear of a stopped 2009 Pontiac Vibe operated by a 43 year old Guelph woman.

Total damage to the three involved motor vehicles is estimated at $6000.00.

No injuries were sustained by any of the involved drivers.

A 40 year Guelph male has been charged with Drive While Disqualified, Drive under Suspension, and Careless Driving.

He will be appearing in Guelph Court in January 2015.
