(Ottawa, ON) –The Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 417.
At approximately 1:44 pm, an eastbound motor vehicle crossed the centre median on Highway 417 westbound near Carp Road (Stittsville). As a result, the eastbound vehicle collided with a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) and a pickup truck travelling westbound.
The eastbound vehicle, along with the westbound pickup truck rolled over.
The female driver in the eastbound motor vehicle was extricated by officers at scene. She sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an Ottawa area hospital.
