(ZORRA TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On December 13, 2015 shortly after 5:45 a.m. Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Mac’s Milk convenience store located on Road 68, near Stanley Street in the village of Thamesford.
Investigation indicated that a male suspect entered the store shortly before 5:45 a.m. and approached the lone female employee. The suspect threatened the store employee with a handgun and demanded cash. The suspect fled the store on foot with a quantity of Canadian Currency, and got into a vehicle which left in an unknown direction. The store employee was not injured.
Oxford County OPP Crime Unit with assistance from the Norfolk County OPP Crime Unit and London Police Service, are advising that three people have been arrested in relation to the robbery. All three were arrested without incident and were held for bail hearings at the Woodstock Courthouse.
Charged under the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC) and the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA) is the following:
17-years-of-age, male, youth from London;

Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose (CCC)
Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Probation Order (2 counts) (YCJA)
Fail to Comply with Sentence (4 counts) (YCJA)
Susan WRIGHT, 63-years-of-age, female from East York (Greater Toronto Area);
Robbery – Using a Firearm (CCC)
Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence (CCC)
Jonathan LANDRY, 18-years-of-age, male from East York (Greater Toronto Area);
Robbery – Using a Firearm (CCC)
Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence (CCC)
Fail to Comply with Sentence (YCJA)
The male youth will not be identified in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The robbery remains under investigation.
