(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) –Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested three impaired drivers at three separate locations over the weekend.
On 28 August 2015 at approximately 10:40 p.m. OPP were alerted to a vehicle and performed a traffic stop on Elm Street in Paris. OPP arrested and charged Trevor LAHAY a 45-year old from the County of Brant for Impaired Driving and Refusing to Provide a Suitable Breath Sample both under the Criminal Code of Canada.
On 29 August 2015 at approximately 11:45 p.m. OPP were conducting R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) on Cockshutt Road in the County of Brant. Police were alerted to a vehicle and performed a traffic stop. OPP arrested and charged Bryan HENRY 27-year-old from the County of Haldimand for Impaired Driving and Dangerous Driving both under the Criminal Code of Canada.
On 30 August 2015 at approximately 1:30 a.m. OPP were alerted to a vehicle and performed a traffic stop on Spruce Street in Paris. OPP arrested and charged Alexis GIGNAC a 27-year-old female from the County of Brant with driving a motor vehicle with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in his blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
All three individuals will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date to answer to their charges.
