(PEMBROKE, ON) – In the early morning hours of Saturday March 05, 2016 members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop in the east end of the City of Pembroke. The driver of the vehicle was found to be under the influence of alcohol and as a result 18 year old Jordan PIKE of Petawawa was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
Impaired Driving
Driving with More Than 80 mgs of Alcohol in His Blood
He was also charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
Novice Driver B.A.C. Above Zero
And under the Liquor License Act with:
Driving motor vehicle with an open container of liquor.
He was released on a Promise To Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on March 22, 2016.
In the early morning hours of Sunday March 06, 2016 officers from the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP received a complaint regarding a possible impaired driver in a black Dodge pickup. Officers located the vehicle and stopped it on Doran Rd in Laurentian Valley Township. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol and as a result 44 year old Brian GOLDBERG of North Algona-Wilberforce Township was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

He was released on a Promise To Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on March 22, 2016.
Later, on the evening of Sunday March 06, 2016, police conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle in the downtown core of the City of Pembroke. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol and as a result 31 year old Timothy Kyle BRASCH of Pembroke was arrested and charged with Driving with More Than 80 mgs of Alcohol in His Blood contrary to the Criminal Code. He was released on a Promise To Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on April 05, 2016.
