THREE MALES CHARGED WITH BREAK & ENTER

(HALIBURTON, ON) – On Saturday November 09, 2013 at approximately 6:30 pm the Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a RIDE program in Wilberforce – Municipality of Highlands East Ontario. An officer stopped a blue GMC van which contained three males and numerous Break & Enter tools. Further investigation revealed a quantity of stolen items including copper wire and aluminum, believed to be from a commercial location on Elephant Lake Road. The males were arrested and charged with the following;

Troy CHAPMAN, age 18 from Whitby ON,

Break and Enter
Possession of Break in Instruments
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000

Joshua THOMPSON age 31 from Courtice ON,

Break and Enter
Possession of Break in Instruments
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime by Crime Under $5000
Possession of a Controlled Substance

Gregory FLEMMING age 28 from Bancroft ON,

Break and Enter
Possession of Break in Instruments
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime by Crime Under $5000
Fail to Comply with a Recognizance

The accused THOMPSON and CHAPMAN are scheduled to appear on December 04, 2013 in the Ontario Court of Justice in Minden ON. The accused FLEMMING was held for a bail hearing in Lindsay ON.
