(EAST ZORRA – TAVISTOCK TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On June 11, 2016, shortly before 7:00 a.m., the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a disturbance at a residential property on Highway 59 (Huntingford) in East Zorra-Tavistock Township, regarding an incident involving an assault with a weapon.
The police investigation has revealed that the incident started as a dispute between three adult males. Witnesses at the scene intervened and police were called. Two of the males left the scene prior to police arrival. Two of the males sought medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
The Oxford County Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Services Unit (FISU) and Emergency Response Team (ERT) members were called in to assist.
As a result of the investigation, OPP arrested the three suspects which resulted in the following Criminal Code of Canada charges:
Jeremy STRIDE, 27-years-old of Kitchener
Break and Enter to a dwelling – Commit Indictable Offence
Assault with a Weapon
Ryan LOUVELLE, 29-years-old of Kitchener
Break and Enter to a dwelling – Commit Indictable Offence
Assault with a Weapon
Fail to Comply with Probation
Pasquale PALOMBO, 29-years-old of East Zorra-Tavistock
Assault with a Weapon
Aggravated Assault
All three males were arrested without incident and held for bail hearings.
