(FORT FRANCES, ON) – On May 1, 2016 at 1:15pm, members of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an assault in the west end of Fort Frances.
Local detachment members, assisted by members of the North West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), Fort Frances Crime Unit and K-9 attended to assist with the investigation.
As a result of an investigation three males from Fort Frances, Joshua Jacob ENNS, (28), Denis Lee MUTZ, (28), and Brent Joseph LINDBERG, (27) are facing total of twenty charges under the Criminal Code.
The victim did not require hospitalization for injuries. All three remain in custody and will appear in Fort Frances Provincial Court on May 9, 2016 for a bail hearing.
