(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Street Crime Unit along with members of the Norfolk County Detachment have charged a 49 year old male, 53 year old female and a 60 year old male with drug and weapon offences after executing a search warrant at a Windham Road 12, Windham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at approximately 7:03 a.m., members of the Norfolk County Street Crime Unit, Emergency Response Team (ERT) and K-9 Unit attended a Windham Road 12 address and executed a search warrant.
As a result of the warrant, two males and a female were arrested and charged with drug and weapon related offences.
Police recovered approximately $50,000 dollars in illicit drugs and approximately $70,000 dollars in Canadian currency.
Charged with the following offences is 49 year old Megel Thedore RICHARDS of Norfolk County, Ontario.
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking Cocaine
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking Marihuana
· Possession of crack Cocaine
· Possession of hashish brownies
· Possession of Cannabis Resin Oil
· Possession of Cannabis Hashish
· Production of Marihuana
· Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose X2
Charged with the following offences is 53 year old Joy RICHARDS of Norfolk County, Ontario.
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking Cocaine
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking Marihuana
· Possession of crack Cocaine
· Possession of hashish brownies
· Possession of Cannabis Resin Oil
· Possession of Cannabis Hashish
· Production of Marihuana
· Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose X2
Charged with the following offences is 60 year old Albert Victor PALMER of Norfolk County, Ontario.
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking Cocaine
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking Marihuana
· Possession of crack Cocaine
· Possession of hashish brownies
· Possession of Cannabis Resin Oil
· Possession of Cannabis Hashish
· Production of Marihuana
· Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose X2
All are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
