Three Charged With Drug Offences

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Street Crime Unit have charged a 24 year old female, 26 year old female and a 37 year old male with drug offences after conducting an investigation at an Oakwood Avenue, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Saturday, January 17, 2015 at approximately 1:00 a.m., members of the Street Crime Unit were on patrol in the area of Oakwood Avenue, when a vehicle and occupants attracted the officer’s attention.

As result of police investigation, three individuals were subsequently arrested and charged.

Charged with the following offences is 24 year old Amber Marie SHORTT of Norfolk County, Ontario.

Possession of Cocaine
Possession of Hydromorphone
Fail to comply with Recognizance
Fail to comply with Probation Order

Charged with the following offences is 26 year old Lacey Rae WAGENAAR of Port Carling, Ontario.

Possession of Cocaine
Possession of Hydromorphone
Possession of a Schedule 1 substance

Charged with possession of Cocaine is 37 year old Louie BARBOSA of Norfolk County, Ontario.

All parties are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
