Three Charged With Break And Enter – DEACON, KENNY & PLANTT

(ALLENFORD, ON) – On May 18, 2017, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit of Grey Bruce, with the assistance of the Bruce Peninsula OPP and the Bruce Peninsula OPP Crime Unit; conducted an investigation at a property located on 21 Highway in Allenford, in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.

On today’s date (18May) at 8:43 a.m., police received a report of a break and enter which occurred at a business in Allenford.

As a result of the investigation police located the suspects along with several items reported stolen including; a Dewalt jobsite radio, Dewalt chop saw, two mountain bikes, a generator, mini fridge as well as many other items. Police also seized offence related tools.

Jennifer DEACON, age 37, and Joshua KENNY, age 27, of South Bruce Peninsula have been charged with break and enter, possession of break-in instruments, possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, possession of an identity documents (passports).

Joseph PLANTT, age 19, of South Bruce Peninsula has been charged with failing to comply with a probation order, break and enter, possession of break-in instruments, possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, possession of an identity document (passport).

All three are being held for bail and will appear before the Owen Sound Court of Justice on 19 May, 2017.

The investigation is continuing.
