Three Charged For Small Amount Of Marijuana

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On July 20, 2016 at approximately 10:50 a.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer did a traffic stop on a 2002 Buick travelling on Wellington Road 124 near Wellington Road 26, Guelph-Eramosa Township. The officer noticed suspected marihuana in the vehicle and seizures were made from the three male occupants. They were arrested and released at the scene with court documents.

29-year-old Andrew MCQUAID and 30-year-old Joe MCQUAID both of Hamilton and 30-year-old Daniel WILCOX of Flamborough have been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 Grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. They will appear in Guelph Criminal Court on September 16, 2016.
