(COLLINGWOOD, ON) Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Drug Action Team with the assistance of the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP Street Crimes Unit and the OPP Canine Unit executed a search warrant yesterday at a residence in Collingwood.
On March 22 2016, OPP members attended to a residence on Birch Street near Second Street in Collingwood. The warrant led to the seizure of an undisclosed amount of crack cocaine and cannabis marihuana as well as a small amount of cash. Officers also arrested three male occupants of the residence who were transported to Collingwood detachment for processing.
Charged are:
48 year-old Bryan RICE of The Blue Mountains, he is facing a charge of possession of cocaine and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood on April 26 2016.
38 year-old Ryan SCOTT of Collingwood, he is facing charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking (two counts), trafficking a controlled substance (cocaine), possession of cocaine (two counts), possession of marihuana under 30 grams, possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 and possession of a prohibited device for a dangerous purpose (prohibited knife). He was held for bail court today at the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie.
44 year-old Coby TRONICK of Collingwood, he is facing charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cannabis marihuana under 30 grams and possession of cocaine. He was also held for bail court today at the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie.
