[NIPIGON] Three charged in break and enter to Nipigon Canadian Tire Store 2015-08-16
On 12 August 2015 Nipigon Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of a Break and Enter at the Nipigon Canadian Tire Store. Staff members attended to find the building had been entered and property including electronics, ammunition, outdoor gear and cash had been stolen.
As a result of investigation with the assistance of OPP Forensic Identification Unit, Alberta RCMP, West Nipissing Police service, Sudbury and Parry Sound OPP 3 suspects were identified and arrested.
The estimated cost of merchandise stolen is in excess of $10000.
Charged are:
Patrick PICKLES, 26, of Calgary AB, Barry David SMITH, 42, of Botwood NL and Stephen Daniel SMITH, 21, of Lodgepole AB, all three are charged with Break and Enter / Theft over $5000 and Break / Enter Mischief over $5000. All 3 have been remanded into custody.
