(PEMBROKE, ON) – Members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the Pembroke Regional Hospital just after 10pm on June 12, 2016 due to an unwanted male party that had attended at the hospital and was causing a disturbance. While officers were dealing with the man he made threats towards hospital staff and assaulted one of the responding officers. As a result 50 year old Thomas Wilfred Arthur HEANEY was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
Uttering Threats
Assault a Peace Officer
He was held for a bail hearing on June 13, 2016 and he remains in custody until his next scheduled appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on June 20, 2016.
