(GEORGIAN BAY TOWNSHIP, ON) – On Friday November 20, 2015 at 5:35 p.m. members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call of a motor vehicle that was northbound on the 400 at Duckworth street Barrie and had just been involved in a fail to remain collision.
At 6:35 p.m. the involved vehicle was stopped in the area of Highway 400 and Crooked Bay Road in Georgian Bay Township. The driver smelled of alcohol and was given a roadside test which resulted in a “fail”. He was arrested and taken to Southern Georgian Bay Detachment for further tests.
As a result of these tests, Thomas PRITCHARD (age 51) of Wahinapitae, ON is charged with:
– Drive While Ability Impaired
– Over 80 mgs
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland Ontario on December 10, 2015.
