(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), an officer was conducting radar patrol on the 403 Highway near Johnson Road. The officer clocked a vehicle on radar at 158 km/h in a posted 100 km/h zone.
At approximately 1:58 a.m. Thursday October 31st, 2013, an officer stopped the driver of a 2011 Dodge Avenger for speeding. While the officer was talking to the male driver, he could smell the odour of alcohol on his breath. The driver was given the Roadside Screening test. As a result of the test he was transported to the County of Brant OPP Detachment for Intoxilyzer Tests.
Thomas DREWERY 23 years of age from the City of Brantford is facing the following charges
Drive over 80 milligrams
Speeding 50kmh over posted Limit (Highway Traffic Act)
The accused is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Brantford on November 13th, 2013 to answer to the charge.
