(EMBRUN, ON) – The Russell County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating several incidents after responding to 123 calls for service from Tuesday, December 29th to Saturday, January 2nd. Among those occurrences were the following; domestic disputes, thefts, mischiefs, drug offences and one impaired related incident.
As a result of those occurrences, one female and two males were charged with various offences.
Domestic Disputes
Russell County OPP officers investigated 6 domestic disputes during the past 5 days. One male and one female of Rockland were charged with spousal assault, domestic mischief and careless storage of a firearm.
House Fire
Early morning on December 29th, OPP officers, Limoges fire department and Prescott Russell Emergency service responded to a house fire on Limoges Road. All the occupants exited the house safely. No foul play is suspected.
