(RUSSELL COUNTY, ON) In the week of June 1, 2015 to June 8, 2015, Russell County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 247 occurrences. Among those occurrences OPP responded to 7 collisions, 6 thefts and 4 domestics.
As a result of those occurrences, 46 people were charged with various offences.
Assault
(Rockland, ON) On June 1, 2015 OPP Constables responded to domestic related incident on McDermitt Road in Rockland. At that location a female reported being assaulted and also reported other ongoing issues.
A 43 year old male, from Clarence-Rockland will have to appear in L’Orignal court on June 17, 2015 to answer to the following charges:
CC 266 Assault – Spousal X2
Break and Enter
(Casselman, ON) On June 2, 2015 OPP Constable Anne Christine Gauthier was investigating a matter when she was informed of another matter that took place in 2013. Investigation revealed that a female being interviewed was responsible for a break and enter at a Chip Stand on Racine Street in Casselman.
Martine LAROCQUE-Renaud, 23 years old from Casselman will have to appear in L’Orignal court on July 8, 2015 to answer to the following charges:
CC 430(4) Mischief Under $ 5,000
CC 348(1)(a) Break, Enter a place – with intent to commit indictable offence
Drugs
(Embrun, ON) On June 3, 2015 OPP Constables were on patrol and stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Notre-Dame Street in Embrun. Police computer verification revealed that the driver was unlicensed. Further investigation led to the discovery of illegal drugs and other offences.
Andrew Charles SIGNORE, 35 years old from Embrun will have to appear in L’Orignal court on July 22, 2015 to answer to the following charge:
CDSA 4(1) Poss of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
The driver will also have to appear in L’Original traffic court on July 2, 2015 to answer to the following charge:
MSVA 12(1) Drive – no insurance
He was also issued a provincial offence notice for the following infraction:
HTA 7(1)(c(i)) Drive motor vehicle, no validation on plate
Assault
(Casselman, ON) On June 3, 2015 OPP Constables responded to a domestic related incident on Albert Street in Casselman. At that location a male and female were discussing the statues of their relationship when an argument started. At one point the male assaulted the female.
A 39 year old male, from Embrun will have to appear in L’Orignal court on June 8, 2015 to answer to the following charges:
CC 266 Assault – Spousal X2
Threats
(Russell, ON) On May 30, 2015 OPP Constables responded to a domestic related incident on First Avenue in Russell. At that location a female reported receiving threatening text messages from her ex-partner. The officers investigated the matter and conclude that an offence had been committed.
A 21 year old male, from Embrun will have to appear in L’Orignal court on June 24, 2015 to answer to the following charge:
CC 264.1(1)(a) Uttering Threats – Cause death or Bodily Harm
Harassment
(Casselman, ON) On June 4, 2015 OPP Constables responded to a domestic related incident on Route 600 West in Casselman. At that location a female reported being harassed by her ex-partner. The officers investigated the incident and at the same time were informed of other ongoing issues.
A 30 year old male, from Casselman will have to appear in L’Orignal court on June 24, 2015 to answer to the following charges:
CC 264(1) Criminal Harassment – repeatedly follow, repeatedly communicate with, watch and beset, threatening conduct
CC 349(1) Unlawfully in Dwelling House
CC 334(b) Theft Under $5000
Drugs
(Rockland, ON) On June 4, 2015 OPP Constables responded to a domestic related incident on Elie Crescent in Rockland. At that location it was reported that a male and female were having a loud argument. The officers investigated the complaint and came across illegal drugs.
A 27 year old male, from Rockland will have to appear in L’Orignal court on July 8, 2015 to answer to the following charge:
CDSA 4(1) Poss of a Schedule II substance- Cannabis Marihuana – under 30grams
