(PERTH COUNTY, ON) Perth County OPP officers want to let all Perth County residents know that they are busy vacuuming and cleaning out their cruisers, vans and trucks in anticipation of their annual Stuff a Cruiser campaign. They are requesting the public to donate new and unwrapped toys to fill their vehicles and Detachments donation boxes.
As in previous years the Perth County OPP is working with the local Children’s Aid Society in collecting toys for Perth County’s children in need. Upon completion of the drive the Children’s Aid Society will coordinate the distribution of the toys.
The Stuff a Cruiser event will take place in front of the Zellers store in Listowel and the Canadian Tire store in St.Marys on on Saturday December 4, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Toy donation boxes have also been placed in the Listowel, Mitchell and Sebringville OPP Detachments for those residents who wish to drop off toys prior to December 4th.
