Thieves try to steal ATM

On August 20, 2014 at 3:16am, Guelph Police responded to an alarm at an establishment on Woodlawn Road West. It is alleged that unknown culprits used a stolen pickup truck to smash the front doors. The culprits attempted to remove an ATM from the premise, but the damage that was caused to the building prohibited them from doing so. The stolen Chevrolet pickup truck was left behind. The culprits left the area in a small black car, in an unknown direction. Damage to the building is structural and is estimated at over $75,000.
