On Sunday March 16th at approximately 3:30 pm a theft occurred at a Winslow Drive, Kitchener residence. Along with items taken were 4 bottles of Methadone. At approximately 10:07 pm a vehicle stop was conducted by police on Donnenwerth Drive in Kitchener. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene on foot. A canine track was conducted and the male was located by police hiding beside a residence. Property belonging to the victim was located at the scene and all but 1 100ml bottle of Methadone was recovered. A 23 year old Kitchener male is being held for a bail hearing charged with Theft Under x1, Possession under x1, Possession of CDSA x3, breach recognizance x5, breach probation x4 and drive while suspended x2.
