Barrie Police officers were called to the Canadian Tire on Bayfield St. in regards to a theft. The officer arrived on scene and spoke to the loss prevention officers who advised that 36 yr old Barrie female was observed removing another person’s purse from their cart and exited the store. The female was arrested outside the store and returned to the security office. All the contents of the purse were returned to the owner and the female was released with a future court date.
