Theft Of Vehicle Investigation Results In 5 Arrests – Stoll, Smith, Beaver, Nigh

(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Thursday March 29, 2012, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers executed a search warrant at a Huron East residence and recovered stolen property.

As a result an investigation into the theft of two stolen pickup trucks in Mitchell on March 25 & 26th, OPP officers obtained a warrant allowing them to search for numerous outstanding stolen items including truck parts, a new motorbike and miscellaneous property.

The following adults were charged as a result of the execution of this warrant:
– Patrick Smith (22) of the Municipality of West Perth has been charged with “possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000”.

– Michael Stoll (36) of Huron East has been charged with “possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000”.
– Lisa Beaver (31) of Huron East has been charged with “possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000”, and with “possession of Cannabis Marihuana – over 30 grams”.

– Jeremy Nigh (25) of Huron East has been charged with “possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000”.
In addition, one youth was charged with “possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000”, and with two counts of “breach of probation”.

The adults are to appear on Monday April 30, 2012, at Goderich Court to answer to their charges, while the youth will be appearing in Goderich Youth Court on May 10, 2012.
